French Loire Valley 1917 Vintage Guide Book "Bords De La Loire" Hachette Guide Joanne Interesting World War One Tourist Guide This is an unusual guide as at the start of the book it says that as many hotels etc had been transformed in military hospitals and the train services were subject to wartime changes it was very different to pre war guide books. You can imagine British and American officers on leave in the Loire valley using a guide like this! It is in good general condition apart from a worn corner but all the pages are in good condition and it has one of its maps in the rear pocket and has many maps in the text. It is in the earlier Green and Gold binding.
